85mm 1.8 Nikon

  I don’t know if people have had success using this forum, but I might as well try my luck.

  I’m looking for an 85mm 1.8 for Nikon cameras. Will to pay about 150 Euros or so maybe. If anyone sees one available second hand in a shop, let me know.

  Of course I’m a dreamer!

  I saw it in Bermingham Cameras on the quays a couple of months ago for 169 euros and a couple of weeks ago for 289 euros.

  Also, I can buy it new from New York including postage and VAT and customs for 385 euros.

  I’m willing to go above 150 of course. If I posted up I was willing to pay 350 euros someone could just say I have one and I’ll sell it for 350 and I’ve no bargaining power whatsoever. Where’s the fun in that?
