Looking at the Galtees from Mallow,snapped one dawn when heading off fishing.thats a really top class shot, there’s a a lot of competition in the sunset/sunrise market but that one stands out, layering in the clouds is lovely and colour of the mountains very nice. Not sure about the silhouettes in the foreground, esp top left corner……it doesn’t add to it but doesn’t really take away from it either, can’t make my mind up, but apart from that a lovely shot.
This is a good image, and I can see that you’ve already cropped it. Any more would lose the nice proportions and/or intrude upon the mountains themselves.
I would say that getting out from under those trees and taking the same composition would have resulted in a far stronger shot. It’s precisely those subtle changes that turn a good shot into an excellent one.
Well spotted anyway, and I hope the fishing was as good as the photography!

PeterTnx Peter and Liam.The morning I took the shot was having a coffee prior to doing some salmon fishing,looked out the window by chance and saw an amazing dawn.Grabbed the camera, still half asleep and took a dozen or so shots.The timeframe was critical as the light was changing rapidly.A bit of luck with this one,never got to thank the salmon for getting me out of bed that morning.Thats fishing for ya! Flipsake…..
