Girl on Bike, St. Anne’s Park, Raheny, Co Dublin

Brought the dog out for a walk to St Anns Park two weeks ago. There was evening light coming in at an angle and I liked the trees going down the path, took this shot with the girl at the end. Was taken in colour but preferred the B+W version

there’s something very tim burton about this. the girl at the end is nearly such a surprise cos the b&w gives it a very ominous atmosphere and when the branches drew my eye to her, i was quite surprised that it wasn’t the headless horseman. :)
Branches are indeed nice, I would have liked the photograph as it is but after reading summerdream’s reply on the Tim Burton theme I would have darkened the b+w.
:)Fine shot , might be worth a revisit if it was misty/foggy, just to add a little athmosphere. fine shot!

flynny: Yea I agree some mist or fog would be interesting. Coming into the winter months now the fog and mist should be coming back in the mornings. Would be worth a try alright
