flynnyParticipantMr.HParticipant
Interesting processing flynny -What have you done here? it works in a retro kinda way.
Where abouts are you here? Is this the lake right up the top, up and around the corner from ladies view?. Its on my list of places to shoot but I never get around to it… Never seen the boat there though so I am curious.
Gary
proachMemberI think this is a great image, perfectly exposed/composed, and I love the processing (although I think, you have to like that!)
Great job
slang61ParticipantLovely pic flynny – just not a big fan of this kind of processing – but apart from that as i said – very nice.
ClondaraParticipantHi Flynny,
Nice composition and tasteful processing make this a beautiful picture.DeeboParticipantCracking location and lots of interest. Not too keen on the processing as it makes it look more of a painting or watercolour but I can see how it adds some interest and why people might like it more.
Cheers, DeemcmartinParticipantvery nice image, nice processing and composition… i like it very much, retro kinda feeling…
PeteMcDMemberLooks the processing has divided the jury on this one… I think its beautiful. I love the desaturated colours. Looks like its been bleached, or a polaroid.
The composition is good. Bordering on a documentary style. It might be nice if the right hand boat sat a little closer to the bottom right corner. But as is, it creates an interesting tension.
I really like it. A series in this style would be super…
SeaviewParticipantVery nice Flynny, great composition and I think the pp really suits this image.
Dave.
flynnyParticipantMany thanks for your thoughts,
This was taken on the road from Killarney to ladys View, I’d guess about a mile or so before you actually get to Ladys View. It was taken a while ago.
The shot was processed in Lightroom, I’m new to lightroom, so I am just trying to get a feel for whats exceptable or not, I think this was a preset called “dream” with a few minor tweaks.Again just to say thanks for you comments, always welcome ,good or otherwise.Paul
