Apparently grey squirrels are a bit of problem and native red squirrels not really seen anymore in the gardens. Taken last sunday when it was sunny for a change.

3rd squirrel down is my personal fave of them ones, but the 4th shot I really do like !

I always feel a bit sorry for grey squirrels as they seem to get pretty bad press and a lot of people seem to consider them a pest… personally I think they are funny lil characters! One place I spotted plenty of red squirrels recently was Mount Stewart on the Ards Peninsula. I tried to get a few shots but despite my best patience all I got was a couple of out of focus images from too far away.

As for the photos, the third is the better shot of the squirrel in my opinion but I would re-work the crop and have the tail nearer the edge on the left and some more space on the right just to compose it a bit better.

I like the photo from the palm house as well, nice contrast between the green palms and the blue sky with the beams in the roof just drawing you in. I like it when people look up with their camera rather than just snapping whats in front of them :)

THird one is a cracker. THe light is perfect. Nice catchlight in the eye. Really well separated from the background too.

First 2 are good- they could maybe do with some white balance tweaking, and be a bit brighter. But not a patch on the third.
