Has anyone used sagemax warranty

Hi all
Has anyone tried out that 3 year sagemax international warranty from BH Photo.
Where did you send the sigma lens to from ireland.
If you only get the lens from BH with the standard 1 year warranty then where do you send the lens. It defeats the savings if i have to ship it to states for a repair.Thanks

As far as i know items bought in the us come wiht us waranty only and are not valid in europe.
I don’t know about Sagemax, but I use and sell Mack Warranty’s.
All the Mack Warranty’s I use & sell are WORLDWIDE Warranty’s, which means you send them to either Ireland or the UK for repairs (I live in co.Wicklow), if you live in either.
Most countries has their own service centres.
They cost very little to buy and like I said, I use them myself, I own around €6000 worth of gear & everything has a Mack Warranty.
Any Camera or Lens I sell INCLUDES a Mack Warranty, without any extra charge. (Warranty’s vary between 3 / 5 / 7 years)
All n All, never heard of Sagemax, Mack Warranty’s are easy to register and easy to get a Repair Number from them.
