B&W continues, despite recent comments, but this is what I’ve been focused on…

Lovely Martin, I like it a lot.

I do have three little niggles though.
I am not mad about that purple lith-like toning, could be my screen though.
I am not convinced that the wreck and the horizon are placed in the best spot compositionally, maybe higher or lower would be better
I think those three ‘glints’ in the bottom right corner have to go

I would agree with Madra Rua about the position of the wreck, personally i would have shown more sky and less ground, because the sky is very interesting.. Also i’m not gone on the whole purple tint, a simple b&w may have been nice.. But that is down to personal taste. Otherwise a very good shot, well done.

I agree with Hauke. I don’t like the purple tint but I love the composition and style.

    thanks for constructive comments…
no Irish submirine and no irish airforce like, thanks for that…

It was very winy day and this one is one of the very few good ones, unfortunately there is no more sky to show… maybe next time… amd those white bits are shells or stones,,, the beach was covered with them…

I think its very nice as it is. A bit more sky or possibly just get slightly closer to the boat.

Also have you though about bringing down the exposure length of your shots. I know these are long exposures but i think possibly too long. Slightly less exposure would add more detail to your foregrounds but at the same time give you the long exposure look …

Couldn’t fault it in anyway Martin, the composition is great. Very well executed and processed….Super detail in the shipwreck and sky.

Nothing critical to say on this one I’m afraid, It’s a fine shot as it is, keep um coming.
