    Well the weather was a bit harse today, 50mph winds driving rain but i just got the 70-200L so was excited to get out, here are a few shots from the day

    I really like the composition in number 3. I think it should be B&W, or kept in colour with a cooler, more saturated look.

    The shapes in the waves in the fourth are compelling, so that one gets my vote.

    Fourth gets my vote also, it really looks menacing. Not sure about the over exposed one.

    Thanks PD Barbs, i dont reali like the over exposed one, i seen a few on here and thought i would give it a go, maybe it would work better if it was cropped below the horizon

    If you are on about the mcmartin ones, I think he uses a 10 stop filter to achieve his effects, always tempted to give it ago myself, good to try something new.

    Yep thats exactly how i got the idea of, i over exposed in camera but most was PS. Its always good to try something new, whats the harm realy and at least now i know that shot doesnt work. And yes added them to that flickr group
