During a more formal sitting I got this, and it turned out my (and my sister/model’s) favourite. Any tips always appreciated.

Edit: must learn how to properly imbed photos sometime…

Great expression, I think it would have worked better with a mid-toned background and a bit more contrast.

It seem very natural to me, not posed, just an ‘out-take’ if you like, between shots (I could be wrong)
I like it though and maybe for the above reasons.

Fun looking shot, would be really strong if it was a full on headshot but don’t like the arm, looks like it could belong to someone else.

Good, very good. I don’t tend to follow through with portraiture but this does appeal to me just as is. I can see why you liked it best. As far as the technical aspects of capturing an image like this there are experts here with advice – I just want to acknowledge my appreciation of your capture.

I like it alot, i think you filled the frame very nicely with her and her expression is not typical but original to her. Maybe a little more contrast. I think the background works very well with the DOF.

Defo a very fun shot Andy… (nice christmas present maybe?) I really like the low contrast and I also like the closeness.
    Nicely done!
