  I esp. love the first one… what kind of editing did you do to them? the colours look great and very moody…

  Is it a lowered opacity black n white overlay layer?

  (is there a prize for guessing the correct answer? :) )

  I was ou tplaying with my new macro lens when I shot these. It’s not HDR. I just did some levels and curves and it looked ok, but a bit too plain and boring. I’ve got some actions saved where it adds a channel mixer adjustment layer with different values I’ve set for each output channel and change its mode to colour with opacity of 70%, then add another layer, apply some gaussian blur, change its mode to blend and change its opacity to somewhere around 50% ( I think thats what the action does more or less?). Then I just did a tiny level & curves adjustment to it again. IT only works well for some images though.
