I have this wild idea on a project i wish to persue hoping to improve my skills and i need a little help as I am quite new to this photography lark.

The project is to take portraits of a part of society in their homes with a focus on the hardships or otherwise.

I have to figure out a way to approach my victims I know this will probably mean walking up to people and asking them straight out. Or can anyone advise a better way.

Also can any one help with the type of setup that would be best for this.

    Thanks

the easiest way would be to get friends to ask their family friends to supply victims, and I am sure if you through in a free family portrait youd be on a winner.
