O’Devaney Gardens, Nov 1.
All shots are scanned in from film, I got them developed at my new favourite camera store, the Dublin Camera Exchange on Sth Gt Georges St, Dublin 2, all shots were taken on manual but I didn’t take note of settings.
The fourth one with the skip has quite an impact for me. The dereliction is all the more palpably demonstrated and the lines of the skip set up a good compositional interest, inviting the eye into the image as it does with those lines. Thanks for sharing.
Funny enough, when I saw the fourth I was just annoyed at the crooked roof…..I was hoping it would be better. I like the first and second myself. But you’re right, compositionally it is more interesting.
FYI, I think the skip had been used for a bonfire the previous night, it was the day after Halloween.
