Any big news papers and sport magazines would be happy with them! whyulittleMember November 22, 2008 at 3:16 pm Cheers Roberto. SodafarlMember November 22, 2008 at 4:13 pm Ray a superb set. Couldn’t pick a faourite as they are all great. What gear were you using and how close to the pich were you. Soda whyulittleMember November 22, 2008 at 5:09 pm Thanks Soda. I was using a 1DM3 with 70-200 f/2.8 at pitch-side, but unfortunately they push you a bit further back than I’d be used to at League of Ireland games. jobbyParticipant November 24, 2008 at 1:26 pm Great shots Ray, love them all, last is my favourite…. I take it your the guy thats at all the Town games at Lissywollen? whyulittleMember November 24, 2008 at 4:28 pm Thanks Jobby. Possibly me you’ve seen at Town games. I’d be at most, though there are normally a few other photographers there too. paulParticipant November 24, 2008 at 6:38 pm whyulittle wrote: I was using a 1DM3 with 70-200 f/2.8 at pitch-side, but unfortunately they push you a bit further back than I’d be used to at League of Ireland games. You just need a 300mm f/2.8 now. :D Some great shots there. You are a bit further back for the international football. Even further away for international rugby though. Keep up the great work/photos. whyulittleMember November 24, 2008 at 7:34 pm Thanks Paul, but don’t be filling my head with bad ideas like a 300mm f/2.8.  irish147Participant November 25, 2008 at 12:13 am GREAT images very sharp :) markst33Participant November 25, 2008 at 9:44 am Yes, superb images. The sharpness is fantastic. It helps that you were pitchside too but the tools are only as good as the user.
