A couple of shots from Wednesday’s friendly at Croke Park. Full set on my Flickr. Anyone else there?

Richard Dunne gets back to tackle Pawel Brozek.

    Jakub Wawrzyniak tackles Damien Duff.

Kevin Doyle wins possession in midfield.

Stephen Hunt pulls a goal back from the penalty spot.

Lukazs Gargula and Mariusz Lewandowski block Shane Long’s cross.

#2,3, and 5 are great! Any big news papers and sport magazines would be happy with them!

    Thanks Soda.

I was using a 1DM3 with 70-200 f/2.8 at pitch-side, but unfortunately they push you a bit further back than I’d be used to at League of Ireland games.

    Thanks Jobby.

Possibly me you’ve seen at Town games. I’d be at most, though there are normally a few other photographers there too.

    You just need a 300mm f/2.8 now. :D

    Some great shots there.

You are a bit further back for the international football. Even further away for international rugby though.

    Keep up the great work/photos.

Thanks Paul, but don’t be filling my head with bad ideas like a 300mm f/2.8.

Yes, superb images. The sharpness is fantastic. It helps that you were pitchside too but the tools are only as good as the user.

    Mark.
