Visited St Patricks Cathedral today, the walls inside are black with age and makes
the place so dark and gloomy, the flags were disintegrating and some were holding
on by a thread, no flash used, 45mm f5 1.80s iso 800. The angle is a bit haphazard
but other than levitating I didnt have much choice.
Yes Roberto I agree, there was a big screen – you can just see the top of it in
the bottom right corner- in the way, the flags must have been hanging there
forever it almost looked like there had been a fire it was so black, my son is
working on the restoration and he brought me up to the spire to show me the
clock faces which cost 25,000 euro to have restored, a sample of the inner
brickwork has been cleaned also and it is a pale cream colour the whole place
would look amazing if it were cleaned. Though probably wouldnt make a good
photograph :)
