Boat House MarkII This Morning
-
BallymanParticipant
Was passing Carton House GC today and took this of what I thought was Shell Cottage but is actually turns out is The Boathouse which is on the grounds of the golf course.
Anyway, what do you think? C&C appreciated.
MadeleineCalaidoWeberParticipantWell that is a fantastic location. didn’T you post this amazing fog image? I like this one as well. i just would brighten it up a little bit.
BallymanParticipantmgstParticipantBMParticipantLoGillParticipantYeah – this is a gorgeous location very near where I live (- its on my list for a frosty/ snowy morning.. ) You’ve done a lovely job here – the reflections are calming and serene and the toning is soft and gentle – a nice subtle image
My suggsetion would be to get in there and clone out the road and white road markings leading to the main house .. but thats being picky :)
Very nice ;)
LMadeleineCalaidoWeberParticipantoh sorry, i mixed up the photographer. I thought you took it. I saw a beautiful foggy image of this location in this forum a week ago. I have a look for it.

What fog image?
Very nice photograph there. Would like to get up there again on a morning like that.
flynnyParticipantFine shot, love the processing, well done.
Pity you couldn’t get the tree in on the left.Paul
BallymanParticipantI went back again this morning when the place was covered in frost for another go at it. Which is better?
I think I prefer this one as it makes the other one look a little dark although the sunlight this morning gave the place a more autumn than freezing cold winter feeling.
Still no tree though ;)
RobMemberStunning location…
Love the quality of light in that second one. Looks Wintery enough to me…
Rob.
LoGillParticipantWow … no doubt about it – the light this morning was amazing and you made the most of it .. I’m very jealous :)
Gorgeous ..

BMParticipantThe first was good. I prefer teh 2nd. Great light and well done for getting there at 8:40 (or was it 7:40 or 9:40?) in the morning..
BallymanParticipantClickParticipantLove the 2nd shot. You have captured the place very well, and the light is amazing.
Know the place well, and have seen many shots of the Boathouse over the years, and this one is the best I have seen so far.
Well done.
Maybe you should contact the owners as they would definetly be interested in these shots.John
