I want to frame a few photos for the family for xmas but I’m have trouble find nice frames. I’m looking for frames to suit the following picture sizes, 18″ x 12″ and 12″ x 8″.

    Any recommendations would be great.

    Dave.

    Dave,

Frameline in Midleton are quite good – although make sure you haggle, as the owner is a bit tight!

However, his work and prices are quite good.

I have used “Be Framed” in Douglas and I can recommend them – if you are near or in the city. They are located in at the back of the old Woollen Mills industrial estate.
They have a wide range of materials and a quick turn around.

Try Strand frames in Clonakilty for frames and mounts etc.

    Kevin O’Mahony is the boss.

I use them regularly, get your order in soon as you can, they can take 2 – 3 weeks to fill special orders.

I’ll second that. They were very helpful in getting the six 40″x30″ prints that went into MacDonalds Midleton, framed for me a few years ago and I’ve used them on a number of other occasions since then and have always been more than happy with their work.
