I like the last one most Mallacht; is that a frozen lake in the foreground? In can be difficult to convey sense of scale with very high mountains……e.g. is it a 2000ft peak or a 7000ft peak……if they’ve both got snow on the top who can tell…..however the lake & forest give a good sense of scale.
Thanks Liam yes it’s a place called Lake Louise still frozen solid in the middle of May, totally spectacular, biggest reget is I’d bought the camera just 10 days before, I’m new to the whole DSLR setup and I wasn’t able to to do the lanscape justice so finished up taking holiday snaps We live and learn it’s an excuse to go back
I agree, I think I saw the first photo on another post and in a larger format – it looked far more impressive. Also the little cloud detail on the first, the ‘old man’ is quite cool.
Agree, would love to see this a little bigger. Lots more details to be seen I am sure.
