First Fashion Show

I attended my first fashion show last night in Monaghan, I knew the lens I was using wasnt ideal (Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS) but I just simply couldnt afford the lens I should have been using, but heres a small selection of the photos, im more than happy with the results but as always I want to improve my work although who knows when ill be at another fashion show.

The second one is a stand-out fav for me.
I love the composition and the shape of her hair and feature made of her necklace…
Very fashion in style.These are not bad at all, well composed and exposed, and well timed
on your part…I do have one criticism though – presentation; the enormous black frames,
the gigantic signature across the bottom of every picture. The inclusion of
your signature and logo again at the end of every post you make…This is a photography forum, full of enthusiastic photographers, and we’re all
aware of that so we don’t need to advertise to each other. To be honest, it
just makes your posts annoying to look at. Let your photos speak for themselves
and lose the self promotional stuff; it will serve you better here…Sorry if this sounds harsh, but I rarely open any of your threads on account of
your shameless self-promotion. Get a grip man..Rob.
I’d agree with Rob, very distracting.
the images are nice, tho they look like candids not fashion shots, I have no idea what they are wearing in some and its a bit ‘candid of some babes’ to me. Slightly soft and a bit noisy too, what was the exif?
same here…first thing I saw was the border and the sig …… really takes away from the photos…… Signature and border need to be much more subtle… would like to see them posted again without the borders….. or with something more simple..
