Noise Ninja?

Have heard a few people talking about this.
How does it work? Is it free? And, one more question, Is it easy to use?
Noise Ninja is not free but there are trial versions available so you can test it out. I played with a trial version a few years ago and thought it was pretty good. But in the end I went with DFine 2.0.
As an example of what DFine can do, I took this shot with a small digital compact at 1600 ISO. The right hand side has been run through the DFine plug-in in Photoshop (basic default settings – no real tweaking).
It would be interesting to see a test of all the major noise reduction programs on the same photo. (Neat Image is another one).

I use Noiseware Professional, I think it is really mega.
I used to use Neat Image, which was ok but read on a post from Wonka Fan that Noiseware Professional was really great. And I’d agree a big step up.
If you posted a noisy image I’m sure there would be a few volunteers to run it through software and repost it, or try the trail versions.M
I’ve been using NoiseNinja for a couple of years. It’s easy enough to use and makes a nice difference to my images.
Thorsten recommended Imagenomic Noiseware a while back (http://www.imagenomic.com/nwpg.aspx) and I must say it’s very effective.
For the most part you can just use the presets that are available and they do a pretty good job of cleaning up the image.
Used in conjunction with a standard PS layer mask is extremely effective. I use it quiet a bit on bird shots to clean up backgrounds whilst masking the bird to ensure maximum detail is retained in the feathers etc.
