Getting the knee down !!

Great shot Thomas. I take it from your mail address that bikes are your thang! The panning on this one is bang on with the obvious added interest of the sparks from the knee pad. As a matter of interest – I thought these were made from non-metalic objects? Obviously not from this but you’d imagine they’d heat up quite quickly.

Thank’s for the comment, I was involved with Road racing for quite a long time , before i took ill :-(( now i can only take photo’s of them.
Youre right about the Knee sliders most are plastic, they Banned metal ones a few years ago, but like everything you always get one or two
chancing their arm (or knee )Great shot. I’m not usually a fan of motor sport or images of same but this works for me, composition, timing, panning detail all spot on.
On the subject of the sparks – maybe it’s the metal plate in his knee??? If he doesn’t have one now, keep that up and it won’t be long.
