ssheridanMemberHi Cathal,
Seen the previous one you posted of this and thought it was nice. However, this one is beautiful, sky is amazing and I like the way the road leads the viewer through the scene. Maybe its just my screen, but I would try and bring the luminance of the greens up a little just to brighten the fields.

lousyParticipantThat’s a lovely image Cathal, although different to the ‘corkscrew’ image on Flikr. The sky is a lovely colour, nothing blown and the landscape throughout is interesting, however I think the extra bit of road in the original adds more interest.

insertnamehereParticipantGreat shot Cathal, light is very good. I would try to saturate the colours a touch more. I like the way the road leads the eye into the picture, my only concern would be the bit of road at the bottom right of the picture. I think I would have tried to include all of that bend in the road, or none at all. All in all a very nice shot though.
Mark.
andy mcinroyParticipantThis is a tremendous shot Cathal.
Amazing depth thanks to the road and beautiful colours. My only niggle is the section of road in the lower right which has been mentioned.
Here’s a suggestion, although perhaps it’s going too far. You could crop off the section to the right of the grass. Then you could clone over the remaining bit of triangular road and the stalk using the grass cloned from the verge.
Edit. Hope you don’t mind I had quick play with it. The cloning might be taking things too far. What do you think?

nfl-fanParticipantTremondous Cathal… and I do like Randy Mac’s crop… loosing that sliver of road on the rhs is good.
Only thing that might irk me is that you can sense a hum of HDR from it… if I’m right about this then maybe pull back on the strength just a tad… if I’m wrong… then I’m wrong.
Good man… see you the 7th… MM
