    Hi,

    dont normally shot landscape type shots, but here is two
    that i like. the second has an effect that was in one of the
    photo mags, probably a bit over done. let me know what ya think.

    Hi Rob, I think they are both fairly good compositionally, the second being the stronger of the two in this regard. I would have liked to see a more prominent foreground in the first, and I would like to see what the second looks like with the grassy bank in the background cropped out, as I think it’s weak compared to the foreground. The processing is overdone in the second in my opinion, but not by a whole lot. It’s an interesting style for the shot, but I’d tone it down a bit.

    Hi Rob,

    Your second shot seems a bit soft. Water looks good but the rest of the scene is soft also. Maybe this is intentional, but I think with a shot like this the water should be soft and the rest of the scene really sharp. Was there some movement during the long exposure?

    Compositionally I think both shots are good.

    I like the first one, but would like to see more of that interesting water in the foreground.
    No♦. 2 is too soft.
