its an easy subject since its so elegantly built; its a difficult subject since its being snapped so many times.
I think nice effort, its original, I like the way the pillars fill the two bottom corners, and that the emphasis is not simply on its height. I think it could benefit from bordering since its not clear where the photo ends. Its a pity the sky is so white.
Your problem is the sky is way brighter than the tower, expecially as you
are in the shadows of it as well, one solution would be to use a nd grad
filter, though I am not sure that would work very well with this particular
shot given the angle, another would be to take two shots exposing one
for the sky and one for the tower then combine them in photoshop.
Shooting raw would also help as there is more scope for adjustments.
What you could do is take a light meter reading using the camera’s center focus point off the brightest part of the tower and then lock the exposure (* Button) readjust and compose and shoot, that would help you with the sky aswell.. This technique should be in you’re camera instruction manual, it’s in the Canon ones..
Sometimes though the sky just cant be rescued, unfortunately. RAW will certainly help, but not always as much as you’d like!!
