420-800mm Kenko

Hi all,
I have just bought a 420-800mm Kenko lens through Ebay, I’m hoping it will help improve my sports and wildlife shots as I’m currently shooting with a 55-200mm nikkor lens on my Nikon D40 and D80. Anyway, I’d appreciate it if you could check out the following link and tell me what you think of the lens?
I’d have thought f/16 at 800 might be a little slow for sports but your more experienced than I. I’d definately be interested to see some shots showing this things scope.
I think, you would be better off with an old 300mm f/4 lens, you will almost never be able to use that zoom in Ireland… not for sports anyway.

Hmm, ya might be correct about it being a bit slow, but hopefully I wont always be shooting at 800mm . . . I’ll be posting loads of shots as soon as I get the lens, I have a list of places where I’ll be shooting . . .
Manual focus… if it’s sports your shooting you better stick to Chess… Golf if you’re lucky.
Might not be great for wildlife either… you need fast autofocus for most wildlife.
