  I ventured out in the snow to revisit the old boat house. I took all the previous comments on board and kept them in mind when taking this image. The tree on the left is a bit of debatable feature. I think the scene looks less without it so left it in. Still not sure!!

  This was my playground for many years as I grew up and I have never seen a photo of the boathouse covered in snow.
  I cycled to school in maynooth across that bridge every day.

  By the way the name of the house is Carton there is no L in it ,you only get that from the I.P.F. LOL.

  Great shot ,did you get the shell cottage as well?

  I got a few of the boathouse. Will see if any are worth posting.
