Coots in snow

  Hi all

  This is my first attempt to post photos here so bear with me…

  I liked the idea but the colouring probably isn’t great I must admit.

  It’s a nice shot Ruth, I really like the composition. I feel the shot is generally under exposed as the snow and indeed the white of the Coots look a bit grey. If shot in raw you might be able to up the exposure.

  I’d agree with Dave – it looks good but the snow should be close to the colour of the white of the web page. This should bring it up and bring out detail in the coots (coots, coot…what’s the plural?)
