Hi guys I got this old set of darkroom thermometers on fleabay for a couple of quid
The problem I have is I cant tell the temps as they seem to have a different type of reading
compered to a normal thermometer
Anybody throw any light on the subject for me

I dont know what they are showing that’s whats confusing me
on one side from the bottom it reads 4,5,6,6,7,8,9 and the other reads 0,0,0,5,0,0,0
I thought these nos might mean something to somebody who might have used some older equipmentCathal
If you are processing film, try to get them showing one notch below 70.. 7 on the left, 0 on the right :) As far as I know, 68F equals 20C.
Edit: two marks below 70 is 68 on those yokes.

I was thinking it had two different scales one on each side of the blue liquid
(crawls into dark hole and hides)From left to right, They read 63,67 and then 69
Should they all not be reading the same temperature?

I just looked at them Martin and they are all the same it must have been me handeling them
And I will be claiming a blond moment if you bring this thread up again :lol: :lol:
