This spot is a haven for graffiti and most of it not English.
The shot – it’s fine but doesn’t give the full scale of the graffiti. Maybe a wider angle from the right might get more in. I find too that B&W looses the impact of graffiti.
Blackrock it is, well spotted. This stretch of the lane wasnt particularly colourful except for the grass that managed to grow there. Below is another section, you are right a wide angle lens would have helped.
That second one is a good one. It’s so obscure and non-descript that it works very well.
There’s a few good pieces around the steps and the electrical sub station has a fine selection too…God knows who the idiot was that scaled the fence to get in there though. I find shots like you’ve presented are crying out for a series. The second is certainly a great one to kick start.
I did think a bit more about the second pic – the first was a bit of a snap. I know what you mean though some of these guys are either daredevils or complete nutcases, some of them are quite good artists though.
