  nice idea, but the grass infront of the kid is in focus while your son is out of focus.. wrong focus mode selected on the day?

  I’m guessing you were shooting on a wide aperture here ( can’t check the exif on this pc) – so your DOF is very shallow – for these shots try a faster shutter speed

  Would have taken 5 steps to the left before shooting to improve the composition by excluding the bin…

  Good to catch him in the air with that kick though – bet he’ll be happy with it.
