– don’t upload original files, they are big and everybody can do with it whatever he/she wants :idea:
– upload your images in flickr and copy the code so that the image will appear straight away
– was it raining or did you shake the camera? …it is unsharp – tripod, fix it, choose highest quality in your camera, ISO 50 or 100 that will help
– the cascade is a nice one and the milk effect works very well
– dull days doesn’t mean “dull colours”, support the complimentare contrast of the reds and greens
ok just saw that you used canon 400d/iso 100, that is an excellent camera, so you shaked it. mainattention for longtermexposures goes to fixing the tripod.
1/8 s handhold doesn’t work.
– foreground is too messy, i would crop it a bit (get read of the way)
All together i would suggest…put this image into the bin and go again to the location WITH tripod and try again. The natural compostion of this location is excellent. Don’t waist your time with an unsharp image….get a sharp one. hope that helped a bit
