Snow-capped Borlinn

This is from west Cork – near the border with Kerry. At the top of the Borlinn Valley, north of Bantry.
    C & C welcome.

Tom, the image is nicely processed with good colour and contrast (although a little more in the sky might be beneficial). I think that you have tried to use the trees to frame the mountain, but IMO it hasn’t worked. I would have stepped beyond the trees and shot from there – the image has enough interest without them.

Yes good advice from Steve. Without the trees you would have had a nicer image. Looks a great spot to re-visit

Many thanks, Steve and Deebo, for the comments and advice.
I’m afraid I stayed well away from the rows of barbed wire on the fence so I missed the good suggestion to get inside the trees.
This is one with less trees from nearby.

    Regards.
