    Taken in Trinity yesterday and processed in lightroom (which I just got).

    1/800s f/11.0 at 10.0mm iso200

    you can reduce to 1/125s…then you will manage iso 100 or iso50 and you can change to f/16, 22 ….for this image is no need for superfast shutterspeed.

    i really like the light, usually i would say that it is too dark in the front but you artistical interpretation fits with it – cold light, very nice. One thing: this glow around every line…i would get read of that. cheers M

    Thanks for the comments Madeline, I know I could have shot iso 100 but never thought of it and forgot to check what it was on to be honest.

    I’ll look into the glow thing not sure what it is or how I caused it but will take a look tonight.

    I was concerned it might be too dark but definitely the way I liked it when looking at different versions so glad you think it is ok.

    Thanks again for the very useful comments.

    Well D., should i call you deborah or dee ( ;

    just follow your instincts ( ; and create YOUR version. Sometimes people will guide your attention to important things, sometimes it is just a discussion about “taste”.

    the glow is because you moved the balancecurve in lightroom too much, i don’t know the english words for this option but is is maybe light/depts or soething like “clarity” ?? you will find it.

    It’s Darren, lol.

    And bingo on the Clarity, as I boosted that all the way up, lol. I’ll reduce it and see what effect it has and as suggested if I prefer it or not before making a decision.

    Thanks again.

    D.
