dar_dParticipant
Hi All
Here are a few pics from last night in Cork….was a nice evening with no rain for once and the moon came out for a little while…
Feel free to tear me to shreds and point out everything I did wrong!!!!
Bigger versions are in my Flickr, http://www.flickr.com/photos/dar_d/
Thanks for any input!!

I like them – whereabouts in Cork were these shot?
Shot on the side of a cliff down by Crosshaven
AlfamaleParticipantAh yeah, I know now – recognize the lighthouse now you mention it.
The colours are great in the two shots of the headland but I can’t decide whether the light from the lighthouse adds or detracts from the image … maybe you could get them to move it next time ..? ;)
dar_dParticipantYeah I was gonna clone it out but decided to leave it in…..Its there in real life so its there in the shot!! But having said that I cloned out a couple of flashing buoys in the water alright so I guess Im a hypocrite
MoongirlParticipantLove the first and the third.
I would love to get some night pics with the moon in –
can you please explain to a beginner how you did these ? :oops:dar_dParticipantMoongirl wrote:

Find a location and set the camera on a tripod
Set the aperture to a high F number like F16
Set the shutter speed to something like 30 secs
Take your picture and then make the shutter speed longer or shorter depending on the results…..MoongirlParticipantMadeleineCalaidoWeberParticipantlast one is excellent, great presentation… sharp like a shark teeth but a bit small. i see you had a great night with nature
DenverDollParticipantReally beautiful set~~
I can’t find anything to complain about and that sort of bugs me, considering there are four
The first one is absolutely stunning.
Sharon
dar_dParticipantMadeleine – Yup had a good hour sitting on my own and enjoyed it…You can see the last one in bigger size if you want to in my Flickr….
DenverDoll – Thanks for that, first time that’s ever happened!!
