Question: Black and White CN film processing

I love using Neopan 400CN for various reasons, however everywhere I get it processed seems to make it their mission in life to scratch the hell out of the negatives.

They seem to think that the print they give me is the end product, but when I tell them that I intend to scan the negatives so that I can work on them on the computer and print them myself so I can get pure black and white… :x

    Enough of ranting…

My question is whether anyone out there can recommend somewhere I can get B&W CN films processed by people who actually care?

    Consider doing it yourself :)

B&W film development is relatively easy and getting started is not expensive.

Here is a link on how to do it but there are loads of resources on the net to tell you how to do it.

I’ll second doing them yourself, much cheaper and less chance of scratching.

Edit: Silly me, I notice you said its the C41 processed film, so use the real stuff instead and develop it yourself.

I haven’t had problems with Gunns, I regularly take my C41 films there and get nice clean negatives back.

Had really bad experience with Conns, but I think they use a third party lab?

I’m moving towards doing my own C-41 processing now, but up til now I’ve used Hand Imaging in Mullingar. http://www.handimaging.com They really are excellent.
