Took this last week in Townley Hall woods, the site of the horrific attack on 2 couples the other night. My sister and myself and the kids go here regularly and its great for the kids. Unfortunately we won’t be back as it has gotten too dangerous, its such a pity ’cause its really nice. C&C, as always, welcome.

    Thanks,

    Janine

I replaced the above open bracket with a closed one!!

Nice image, Nice composition and good light.

For myself I think I would like it a bit brighter, maybe.

You need to reverse a bracket in you IMG tag:

Nice shot, I like the atmosphere. I’d have been tempted to step to the left to have the steps leading to somewhere, but you could also crop a little from the top and right to increase the dominance of the lightness in the distance.

i really like this image …i cant say why…it is a big invitation to walk this way! This image has too much foreground. a carefull crop will make wonders!

Thanks all for replying. Madeline would you suggest I crop as far as the 1st tree?

without reading your description I felt there was something menacing in this image … it reminded me of the film with jodie foster – “the brave one” ! … with all of that considered i think there is a moody menacing image in there waiting to get out :)
