I love them both, Sean, but the second one is outstanding! Thanks for posting.
Wonderful timing, what a great feeling that must be, just look at the eyes on the
poor fish!!#2 is a cracker Sean though that Gannet is likely to have a hard time digesting this meal.
I feel sorry for the poor old Gurnard, don’t get to see too many these days. It along with the Wrasse are probably our most exotic looking fish, given water temp’s around our coast…….Mikka
You were’nt exaggerating when you said you had taken some crackers… 2nd is especially good.

The first in its on right is a fine photo but it’s disadvantaged by being shown with the second – which is superb.Second is outstanding Sean. I have seen many photos of birds flipping their food before swallowing , bit this is excellent, just the red of the fish against the whites of the Gannets,and sharp as hell. Im impressed.

What part of Ireland was this taken ? or was it abroad ?
I will just agree with everyone else, the second one is class, now to get it published.
