A few from The North Antrim Coast last week. Elephant rock, Ballintoy Harbour & Dunseverick Harbour.

That wave in the second… Such power, it’s brilliant. I think the sky is a bit full on,
for my taste anyway, that doesn’t mean anything, I have strange tastes…

No HDR in these. My Processing style can get mistaken for HDR at times. Although i do use HDR in certain circumstances but here it would have made the waves look strange i think. I hate what HDR does to clouds too.Gary
Thanks :), sorry i didnt keep the colour version as the filter i used covers the shot in a terrible red cast which is very difficult to remove, even shooting in RAW.

I see you are also a fan of the 10-stop filter, your third shot is strikingly similar to a shot I took there last month using the same technique!

Great shot Steven, very similar, just a few steps to the left of mine although you had better light that day. yes i am beginning to use it for the odd shot. Love the fluff effect.

Gary3 lovely shots there Gary. I didn’t think the sun would be that far around at Elephant Rock just yet, I though it would be another month yet. The pick of the bunch would be number 1 for me, thou Ballintoy is pretty spectacular too.
Note to self!! Head for Elephant Rock this thursday. Anyone else interested????
