Worm Mounds

I rushed out when I seen the sky tonight but was a wee bit too late to get anywhere
decent. Just got the few below on Port Beach in Louth. The rag worm mounds where
    particularly big for some reason….

The cloud formations where very unusual but I missed most of the colour… the remnants
just about remain in that last one.

The portrait version is my fav, really great scene and the colour gives the whole photo a nice kick

    Mmmm, lovely worms.

Both of these work well to my eyes. I love the cool feel to these. I get a great feeling of open space too. I think the worm casts help accentuate this.

Not that fussed on the 3rd to be honest. The sky is just not strong enough I feel.

    Thanks guys…!

The 3rd is only put up here to show yee what I missed. Whilst driving there those clouds where bright
pinky reddish orange…! Crap composition and so so placement of stuff in the frame.

    Cheers

Very nice Richie, shooting the whole time with daylight WB I assume?

Really good depth in the second one.

Daylight white balance yeah Steve… Like the master instructed me…! Just tweaked a little bit in DPP. I tried it with other tones but it just didnt feel the same. Blues seem to be my thing recently!

    Cheers mate

Ah I love the first one!

to me it has perfect lighting, love the cool hue and the patterns in the
    sand.

    Nice one.
