These pics have been rejected by other sites for things like “compression artefacts or noise”
I’m using Paint.net for editing.
When I uploaded these from camera to computer they were beautiful, yet when I ran them tru paint.net to compress them, this is what has happened to my beautiful photos. serves me right for not “save as”
Hi Andrew33 ( can I leave out the 33 in future replies?)
Sorry if I asked a stupid question.
Just for the record I alway save every file I open to work on with a different filename as soon as I open it. I learned this, not since starting to use editing software, but from messing up documents I had worked on for ages by saving over something I wanted to keep (in work).
You probably know all this already so sorry if I am stating the obvious.
Nice shots but lacking some sharpness probs due to the problems you mentioned.
I find that taking shots like these it is best to leave the plane some room to fly into , these look very tight. Although I suspect this is intentional.
Dee
Yep Dee, I understand the concept of leaving room for a vehicle to move into, but in the pursuit of getting image down to 1024 to upload (max allowed on some sites) I cropped pics down to the bone which does stunt them from an artistic viewpoint.
