Sunrise over Carlingford Harbour

Finally, the sunshine returns and i can get out with me camera :) A bitterly cold morning helped make it nice and clear. Comments/critique welcome.

Beautiful, sunrise colours very well captured. possibly would have liked a bit more foreground interest but just being picky.

Richy, sometimes you need to decide if the foreground you have to work with will add or detract from the shot. In this case I think it distracts I’m afraid. The shot to go for might have been a more simple composition taken from the far harbour wall towards the mountains.
Lovely colours and interest in the upper parts of the image. Envelope crop upto the boat or just below would tidy

Lovely colours here & pleasant to view.
I tend to agree with Dee re the crop. I have scrolled up so the lower
section (to the point where the sand takes on colour) is masked & to my eye it
looks better.Just an another opinion though. It’s your opinion that counts.

I agree that the bottom should be cropped out. I did consider making it a pano, but decided not to, I think there are a lot of composition rules i need to read up on :)
