These are not bad at all Mark, especially considering your position in the crowd.
I’m wondering what camera you used here? Did you have any trouble getting it in?
I guess security don’t bother so much with cameras anymore..considering the amount of mobile phone cameras that light up the crowds at most gigs these days.
I’ve thouht about bringing my D300 to gigs a few times but chickened out at the last minute.
I had a Nikon D50 with me and a 50mm lens. They found it on the search and they said “Don’t use the flash or it will be taken off you”. Yeah they should not be bothered with cameras especially as my brother recorded some of the gig on his mobile phone and when we listened to it played on his PC the next day neither of us could get over the quality. It was amazing !!!!
Great shots how on earth did you get a Professional camera as security call it into a gig!!! I have had so many arguments with security over point and shoot Sony H9.
Fair play to you! We have always got in with the Sony H9 P&S but have been caught using it and end up having an argument with security which puts a serious dampner on a great concert!
Were u using flash ? I heard that using a flash can piss the band off and thats when security get involved. Also theres safety in numbers so i reckon the mosh pit with all the head cases is the place to be :D
I wouldn’t be anywhere else but, its not a concert if your at the back!!! I don’t use the flash, as 1 it so obvious to security and secondly its of no use at a concert.
Looks like you a a good night, would loved to have gone but couldn’t afford to.
