I like the light too and the DOF. The angle of view is good too – eye level (or below) – down on your belly, sniper style?
Brilliant shot, great detail. Did you get any more, i’v found wildlife can be tricky enough to capture, but im working on my patience.

Thanks everyone. I was on my belly, lens resting on a bean bag. I had a bit of scrim netting covering face and camera. But I find that with rabbits this isn’t really necessary. If you just lie still, even out in the open they come quite close as in this one I took last summer with my Sigma 50-500. In fact he was too close, could have given him more space to look into.
Super shot, really nice mood to it. Its ears, eyes and nose all checking you out.
