Hi Tony, the detail and colours are excellent, but the composition bothers me a bit – I think you need more road, there appears
to be a little of everything on show, but no specific focus? :)Thanks Ken, Im sure you are right but the photo does not even begin to capture what was a spectacular vista. I’ll keep trying though
Great view alright, what’s the chances of getting planning permission round there? I love the look of those mountains in the background. If the opportunity arose to bring the camera to the other side of that pole and to get down to the level of the road. Then crop for a panorama.

Could have done that allright but that scrub looked like it was home for nests of rattlesnakes. The plan is to go there again maybe this year with a bit more idea of what i’m doing with a camera
The panorama idea sounds great and that vista would be ideal for it

Don’t worry about the snakes, just explain that you are irish and they will raise their heads up and start hissing like they’ve been drinking whiskey. This means they are ready for you to take their picture! If they slither away just tell them you know St Patrick. Sure, they’ll probably be half Irish themselves.
