I took this the other night at the back of Beaulieu House, which is a big grand house in Drogheda. This house in the picture belonged to one of the workers on the estate when the house was in its full grandeur. I love the texture in the bricks and wonder who lived here.

    C&C, as always, welcome.

    Thanks,

    Janine

Love the old brickwork too Janine. Wonder what it would be like inside, I bet there are some great photo opportunities. Even that window has some interesting items, how old is that newspaper etc.

    John,

You should see the whole area, its absolutely stunning. The big house dates back to the 1650’s, there is a church and a graveyard on the estate. I didn’t try to open the soor, I will do the next time I go back. The public aren’t allowed around this side of the house but a cousin of mine keeps a horse in their stables so she brought me around

I got this one from the house too, look at the cobblelock ground.

A tighter view of that pump with those cobbles at the bottom of the image would look great.

In other words a photo of the Pump and watering can (no window) and the cobbles., Straight On shot.

Thanks John, I am going back again next week so I will get closer head on of this one. I think if I shot it lower down too it might be better. THere is so much oppurtunity in this place for photography, even the oil tank is a lovely colour!!! Think I sound like a bit of a looney now :D Thanks again John.
