Dublin At Sunset (Well, not the type you would see everyday)

    Hi All,

    This photo was taken a few days ago, when the weather was actually nice. The light at sunset was fantastic, but when I finished working, I really didn’t have too much time to pick a good spot. So, here it is, again, good eld Dublin. I know, I know, it’s been taken millions of photos already, but hey, this sunset is not what you would see everyday! Anyway, all comment welcome! Many thanks!

    PS: Where is the nice weather gone these days?

    It appears very, very harshly processed to me.

    Halos everywhere.

    When viewed at full size – noisy and pixelated

    And everything is crooked… all the buildings lean to the right.

    I think the image needs a bit more time of you to find the balance between back and forground. i think you sharpened the townlayer too much. Sky and architecture is not connected. Though the light is beautiful. more gentleness with dublin ( ;

    Hi nfl & Medeleine,

    Thanks you two for the comments! You are absolutely correct! It was very harshly processed because the original photo is way too dark. I had to separate the buildings and the sky&river and then process them one by one…. all the noise and pixelated are caused by overly brightened light, and it is also the reason for the colours on the building seem weird.

    Thanks again for all the comments.
