Got this a while ago. Only getting around to doing something with it now.

Might be a little weak for a street shot, kinda too easy I suppose….?

nice shot. he looks so out of place….he’s on the wrong street, the wrong city, the wrong continent……(still looks cool though).

    Hi Stephen,

I think I have seen and heard this guy.
As far as I can remember he is pretty nifty playing that guitar.

He does seem a bit isolated from the people in the background.

Does seem to have a few coins in his case so somebody must have come close.

I think maybe if you had caught him when he had a crowd around him it might have
    been stronger.

Nice image of the guitar player though.

It’s a very nice shot. It can be hard to get one like this without half a million people getting in your way.

I did a photography project on buskers and found that photographing buskers is one of the most enjoyable subjects you can choose they’re always so friendly and obliging, they just love the attention and they’ll look great natural and don’t ever object to pose, they’re willing to have a bit of fun with it.

Personally, i think it was a wise choice to use a large aperture on this shot to isolate the busker from his surroundings, he is after all the subject and you don’t want anything distracting your eye from him..

I like this though, it’s composed well, but is b&w the right choice? whats this shot like in color? I have a feeling it might be more interesting..

    take care,
    Alan

I’ve seen this guy a few times in the same place, he plays with the guitar across his lap and trust me, he is absolutely amazing at it !! Real nice shot !
