This is quite interesting, being from a city I have never seen butter being made. I do remember, in a museum once, my mother pointing out a churn and explaining she had to spin it when she was young.
This churn look a lot more modern. I presume there is liquid run off, what would that be used for?
As photos I think the tighter crops (1, 4, 5, 6) work best, there is good connection with the churners, and their expressions of concentration.
That said the wider kitchen shots are good/important too for context.
I watched the series with the slideshow function in flickr, it is the best way to view them. You should put a “/show” on the end of your link for lazy people.
