I can’t make up my mind between these 3.

Excellent set, hard to pick my favourite, but if I had to it would be #3… that tree on the right just adds to the composition really well.

Thanks NFL. I was leaning that way myself.

That new Tilt & Shift lens is working well for you. All the best with it… I’d say Ritchie Hatch is shittin himself.

I knew you were a twitcher,
but I never suspected it might be the Hitchcockian variety…

Expect to see these in the Projects section soon-
when do you expect to do the whole nine?

Good thinking JB, I like it. What a great title for a collection of shots.

NFL – not sure what you’re on about, I don’t have one of those lenses.
    Does Ritchie Hatch have one?

I’m starting to like no.2 for the way the light plays through from the
other side of the building like a metaphor.

#3 is the better of the 3 as the shadows are not as dark but that blurry
thing on the lower right should not be there.

would you consider correcting the verticals in PS just to straighten the
lines, maybe thats what Mr NFL was hinting at . . .

Whats the story Pete, are you doing some project or something?

Would it make these photos better if I was?
Or worse if I wasn’t? Or vice versa perhaps?

    It might –

We all might start thinking that you’ve been struggling for inspiration, in a rut photographically and now inspired to take on a project to document ‘stuff’ that nobody would ordinarily shoot… we might see beyond the normality of the subject and get a deeper insight into your vision… in which case shadows, light, forms, tones & other mullarky like that might come into play?

Well, I can honestly say this is the start of a project then.
The parameters: shoot yards, in all their unimproved glory.
In more detail: explore the interplay between light and human
detritus in a setting of neglect or desolation with a particular
focus on the re-encroachment of nature where applicable.

Great… I hope it goes as well as your 35mm Project… or my Religious Artifacts (admitedly I only ever speculated on that one).

Ha. Little do you know Mr NFL, my 35mm project is making good progress.
It’s taken a slight wander since I set the rules, but it’s not dead yet.
