Both nice shots with lovely colours. I think I like the warmer one at the top the best. I’d be tempted to try a letterbox crop with the bottom half of the top image, which would work well also. It would remove the movement in the trees.

I prefer the first one, the aligment of the three trees on the leftl, give a nice balance to the shot.

Thanks Peter for your comment. The shot was taken near to sunset and the light wasn’t great
maybe a warm up filter might help?……John.

    Hi John,

I think both of these are very good.

The light is nice and even across the frames.

Most bluebell images I have seen have a mixture of some
bluebells in sunlight and some in shade.

The colour seems more saturated as a result.

    Nicely done.

    John.

I like the warmth and balance of the first, but i think the path leading in is much better on the second. Is it possible to combine both? Great shots by the way, i’ve been meaning to get out and get a field of Bluebells myself.

Thanks Richy!…..Bluebells are almost gone now , don’t last too long, maybe next year?
    Best of luck!
