Very good Alan, I love the colours, really seems to suit the subject.
Your doing some really nice work with that Holga, really nice. Good to see it.I think the composition in the second is great, very strong. Like the double exposure too.
Think your a bit off on the focus on some of them though.
jb7Participantyes, more good ones-
will these be in the print exchange-
where can I place my order?Really like all of these,
well, except for the double one,
not so convinced by that one…
but the others are lovely compositionsYou mentioned you were leaving some in to get printed-
will they be from film or file?Great stuff, I think you’ve found your camera-
aoluainParticipantSinead, thanks for the compliment, much appreciated
The images do not seem to be as sharp as say the ‘communications’
ones, i think i just left the lens infinity for these . . .Joseph, thanks as above much appreciated.
No wouldnt really have had time to get these sorted for the exchange,
pity.
I know what you mean by the double, I like it meself but yea it could have
been stronger, still interesting though.“You mentioned you were leaving some in to get printed-
will they be from film or file? “From file Joseph, neg frames are 6×6 so they had to be cropped to go on
10×8 paper, only realised after I could have got 8×8 or 10×10 . . .again thanks guys . . .
P.S this is not a post for Lo-Fi’ers only, anybody can post a comment
fstop89564ParticipantMick451ParticipantPeteWMemberDisregarding the technical side of things, these evoked great memories of Caravan holidays in the 70s in Conwy, thanks !!!
aoluainParticipantThanks Tim and Mick!
Pete, The technical side of things here is irrelevant if it gives you those memories.
I did a little bid of processing on these, bost contrast and added a yellow filter.
Who cares if it was taken with a plastic camera with a plastic lens if it
can evoke those memories, that was my goal with this set!Alan
RobMemberLike them a lot Alan, that bleached out look really suits the
colour Holga images. One and two would be my favourites here…
